Daraza Terms of Use

1. Introduction
Welcome to Daraza, a payment platform operated by Daraza Ventures Ltd ("Daraza", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including our website, APIs, payment processing systems, payment links, subscription tools, and related applications (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

Daraza reserves the right to modify fees with reasonable notice.
b. Payment Processing
Daraza facilitates payments through mobile money networks, banks, card networks, and other financial service providers.
Daraza is not a bank or financial institution.
Payment transactions may be processed through third-party providers, and you agree to comply with their applicable terms and policies.
6. Periodic and Recurring Payments
Certain services offered through Daraza may require periodic or recurring payments, including subscriptions or automated billing.
By enabling a recurring payment, you authorise Daraza to:

7. Merchant Responsibilities
Users or businesses accepting payments through Daraza ("Merchants") agree to:

Fulfill orders or services promised to customers

Comply with all applicable consumer protection and financial regulations
Merchants are responsible for handling customer complaints, refunds, and disputes.
Daraza reserves the right to withhold or reverse payments where fraud or abuse is suspected.
8. Refunds and Disputes
Refunds are generally handled by the merchant receiving the payment.
However, Daraza may:

Temporarily hold transactions under investigation

Assist in resolving payment disputes

Reverse transactions where fraud or unauthorized activity is confirmed
Daraza does not guarantee refunds unless required by applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, technology, and materials associated with the service — including software, designs, logos, text, graphics, and trademarks — are the property of Daraza Ventures Ltd or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
10. Security and Fraud Prevention
Daraza may monitor transactions and user activity to detect the following:
